The Edge of Itself

As part of the ambitious 2026 Programme / 70th Anniversary Edition, Habitando el futuro [Our Home, The Future], the theatre cycle El borde de sí mismo [The Edge of Itself], curated by Alejandro Tantanian, invites us to think of the stage as a constantly shifting terrain – a habitat where gesture, word, matter and time co-exist.

The plays take shape dialoguing with the rhythms, transformations, fragility and power of nature, exploring the act of creation as a practice of adaptation and care. In every process, artists and spectators share a space where rehearsal, error and intuition become ways of stage life.
