ILLUSTRATIONS TO TAKE PART IN, WITH CUPA

For this latest edition, the artist Cupa visited the exhibition A 18 minutos del Sol [18 Minutes from the Sun] and found inspiration in three of the different works on show to create his own illustrations. The works that inspired him are Cuarto creciente [Waxing Crescent] by Carlos Luis García Bes, Luna antigua [Ancient Moon] by Alberto Pilone and Ofrenda [Offering] by Daniel Leber.

Download the illustrations to colour them or make them your own however you may like! Take photos of your creations and share them on our social media!

Come to the museum and visit A 18 minutos del Sol to discover the works that inspired the artist, Wednesdays to Mondays, 11 am to 7 pm.

Cupa is an illustrator, VJ and practising teacher. He trained in fine arts and comics and delved into his practice, creating a turro-naif imaginary. The artist explores marginality, Argentinian culture and urban aesthetics through a sharp, audacious lens. His work, which is also influenced by music, has led to collaborations with poets and hip hop, rock and cumbia artists, for whom he has provided illustrations and digital animations for their album covers and live shows.
