40 Years of Democracy

The Museo Moderno is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the restoration of democratic rule in Argentina with a special digital programme that will focus on the creation of an audiovisual archive containing exclusive interviews and records of the works of the artists who were prominent in the final years of the dictatorship and the return to democracy in the country. Soon you will be able to see musicians, visual artists, actors and writers talk about their own experiences of living under the dictatorship and the transition to democracy, including the bans, exiles, returns, new rights, and the happiness and challenges that had to be faced in order to build a new country together.
