When is the application deadline?
The application form can be sent up to and including 31 may
Who can participate?
The programme is open to Argentinian artists and professionals in the fields of art, culture, and education, and foreigners in the same fields who have resided in Argentina for a minimum of three years. However, those who reside in the City of Buenos Aires and its metropolitan area, and Argentinians who are not currently residing in the country are ineligible to apply.
Can partners or collectives apply?
Two residencies will be offered simultaneously. In principle, the residencies are intended for two individual artists or professionals in the fields of art, culture or education. However, if an application is received from a pair of applicants who work together, it will be taken into consideration. In the case of collectives with more than two members, we recommend that a single member be chosen to represent the group in the residency.

Likewise, depending on the profile and project of each selected resident, they may also be asked to participate in some public or internal activities, in collaboration with the professionals of the Museo Moderno, in workshops, conferences, seminars, or the like. S uch activities will be agreed with the Moderno teams.
How does the selection process work?

Once the selection has been made, a list of alternate candidates will be drawn up in order of merit.
Can applicants choose when to do their residency and for how long?
Residencies will have a minimum duration of fourteen (14) days and maximum duration of twenty-nine (29) days, according to the needs of the project presented. If an applicant indicates on their application form a preferred amount of time and period during which they would like to complete the residency (August-December 2025 or March-June 2026), if selected, an attempt will be made to respect their indicated preference.
