An activity for those with autism spectrum disorders (ASD)
Flags are items that represent people who share ideas, territories, customs, traditions, and languages. Today, the whole world has the shared idea of staying at home to look after ourselves and each other. What do you think a flag for the whole world would look like? What colours and shape would it have?
Make a flag at home with any of the materials you have at hand (you can draw a flag, or make one with fabrics of different colours and patterns, paint it with watercolours or tempera on cardboard, etc.)
Use stripes, circles, flowers or animals from different countries.
Add drawings that represent the values you would like all humanity to embrace, such as: generosity, solidarity, empathy.
