An activity for children and young people with autism spectrum disorders (ASD)
In Vecinas del Sur [Southern Neighbours], a colour lithograph by Aída Carballo (Buenos Aires, 1916–1985), you can find many different people represented. Take a careful look at them. What is their hair like, is it the same colour? If we could touch it, how do you imagine if would feel? If we look at their noses, are they all the same? What about your own nose? And your mouth?
Feel free to use the association cards the museum’s design team has specially created for this activity.
