Pavilion 4 Contemporary Art opened its doors in 1996.
Until 2014 the gallery was in an old house in the Palermo neighborhood. housing two exhibition rooms, one for video, and a back room for large format works.
In June 2015 we moved to Villa Crespo, the space has an exhibition room, a back room for large-format works and a photography archive, a B/W laboratory and a reference library.
Since its inception, Pavilion 4 has been offered as a space to interact with new languages and different poetics.
We have dedicated ourselves to promoting the development of Contemporary Art, promoting its insertion into the art circuit of Argentina, and internationally.
The main objective has been to introduce contemporary practices to new audiences, strengthen knowledge and interest in current art, guide the process involved in acquiring a work, starting a collection or strengthening the existing one.
Our gallery has a Staff of 15 talented Latin American artists, who manifest themselves in different media and disciplines. Since its inception we have been committed to accompanying the work of young artists in the development of their productions, managing to form a team that stands out for the excellence of their works and the projection of their careers.
With a marked profile for experimentation in the possibilities of plastic languages.
As part of the development of our activities and promoting younger production, our gallery carries out a residency program where two foreign artists and two Argentine artists participate, which we have called Proyecto CUBO.
For the dissemination of our artists, outside of Argentine territory, Pabellón 4 has been carrying out a program of International fairs, exhibitions in Institutions and places related to the visual arts for more than 10 years, as well as alliances with foreign galleries.
We provide advice for participation in international fairs, working with groups of European galleries that are interested in entering the American market, as well as Latin American ones that are interested in entering the European market.
