OdA’s commitment is to promote the development of local art by showcasing the values, identity, and richness of expression through the different languages of its artists.
Founded in 2015 by architect and photographer Laura de San Martín, the gallery has been open to constantly renewing its approach based on current dynamic contexts. It focuses on the talent of established and mid-career artists, appreciating the individual language of each one. It also fosters the production and promotion of young artists throughout their creative process. The selection proposals are based on a strong emotional charge and aesthetic value, whether conceptual or narrative, highlighting works with poetic proposals that reflect a defined stance in relation to the present time, seeking an impact on the viewer.
In 2019, with the support of the Mecenazgo program granted by the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires, OdA launches the call for “Project 3,2,1” to boost the work of artists in the early stages of their career. The main objective of the program is to support and promote their work by offering them an exhibition space and mentorship with a reference figure in the artistic field.
OdA also expands the visibility and development of its artists by actively participating in national and international fairs.
OdA is a member of Meridiano, the Argentine Chamber of Contemporary Art Galleries.
