Maman Fine Art Gallery was founded in 2001 by the renowned marchand Daniel Maman, who, with more than 45 years of experience in the art market, has advised the most important collections in the region. The gallery, with offices in Buenos Aires and Miami, is dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of Argentine and Latin American artists. Its back room houses more than 4,000 works.
Oriented on the modern avant-garde together with the most iconic artists of Argentine contemporary art, Maman Fine Art is located in Palermo, a few meters from the Museum of Latin American Art (MALBA); the space has two exhibition floors and a sculpture patio. Since their inauguration, the exhibitions have marked the pulse of Argentine art, attracting a large audience and the specialized press.
Their participation in fairs and the publication of bilingual books and catalogs have helped to promote and consolidate the careers of many middle-generation artists whose works today transcend borders and make up the collections of international museums.
In 2013, Maman Fine Art opened its second headquarters in Miami. Currently, the space of the gallery is housed in a large warehouse in the Allapattah neighborhood, a new art district in the city. Two exhibition rooms, the gallery’s back room, and the artist Lucía Maman’s workshop converge there, as well as part of the Estate of Martha Boto and Gregorio Vardánega—Pioneer artists of Kinetic art who developed their careers in Paris. The gallery represents the Estate of both artists since 2018.
