Herlitzka & Co. focuses on the dissemination, dealing and promotion of modern, conceptual and contemporary Latin American art.
We represent a selection of distinguished artists in diverse stages of their artistic careers that hold a varied body of work in both themes and practices. In this line, we also offer works from the secondary market by other contemporary artists from the region to broaden and enhance the gallery’s program.
With the high demand for Latin American artworks, our gallery has contributed to form and expand private and institutional collections, including international museums such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), The Museum of Modern Art (New York), Dallas Museum of Art, Getty Museum (Los Angeles), Tate Modern (London), Museo Reina Sofía (Madrid), MACBA (Barcelona), Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires and the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, among others.
We have managed and supported institutional presentations of our artists such as Marta Minujín at Documenta 14 (2017) and at The Jewish Museum (New York) this coming November, Mirtha Dermisache at the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (2017) and, in 2022, Gerardo Goldwasser (Uruguay) and Herbert Rodríguez (Peru) who represented their countries at the Venice Biennale.
In 2021, the gallery launched its first publication with a bilingual monograph of Anita Payró.
