Located in the mythical district of San Telmo – meters away from the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires – Calvaresi is presented as a meeting space between different artistic languages.
The four building plants, which includes basement and terrace, has two spaces for temporary exhibitions, which allow us to think about the versatility and optimal possibilities for the constant transformations demanded by contemporaneity.
The diffusion of Argentine artists is the main objective of the gallery, transmitting concrete actions of promotion and circulation.
The gallery has a special interest in modern artists who were out of the scene for a long time and seeks to give them visibility through exhibitions and publications, exposing their visuals that relate to current productions.
