BARRO is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2014 in Buenos Aires, committed to the positioning and promotion of Argentine artists, residing both in the country and abroad.The gallery is located in the traditional dock district of La Boca where its exhibition space takes up an industrial warehouse of more than 400 square meters. BARRO produces 5 exhibitions a year in its gallery, in addition to accompanying and developing projects of its artists in other spaces and institutions, such as Whitney Biennial, New Museum Triennial, Sydney Biennial and La Bienale di Venezia. BARRO has forged a relevant international presence by participating in fairs such as: Art Basel (Basel), Art Basel Miami Beach (Miami), Frieze New York (New York), Frieze (London), Fiac (Paris), Art Dubai (Dubai), Contemporary Istanbul (Istanbul), The Armory Show (New York), ARCO (Madrid), artBO (Bogota), Proyectos LA (Los Angeles), Arteba (Buenos Aires). Since its establishment, the gallery has maintained the focus of its program on multidisciplinary proposals and on the creation of liaisons, both in the Argentine and international scenes, to promote a critical dialogue and the development of new audiences.
