Buenos Aires, 1971. Ivana Vollaro works on the links between word and image, investigating the borders of the formal and the informal, language and the errors that generate these limits.
Since its beginnings, its work has been inscribed within conceptualism and the tradition of visual poetry, graphics and mail art. Through the subtlety of humor, her works become territory for reflection on form, translation and identity. Vollaro’s production crosses multiple media, including publications and artist books, photography, video and installation, as well as performance and sound pieces.
