Mariano Vilela (Buenos Aires, 1970) studied at the “Prilidiano Pueyrredón” National School of Fine Arts. He completed a postgraduate degree in Visual Arts at the National University of the Arts. He attended the workshops of Ahuva Slimowickz and Jorge Macchi. He was a scholarship recipient of the Program for young artists directed by Guillermo Kuitca and the National Fund for the Arts, Design category. Likewise, he participated in the intercampos program for visual artists and the single-channel video workshop, both at the Telefónica Foundation. He has exhibited individually in the country and abroad since 1994. He has held individual exhibitions in the galleries Van Riel, Dabbah Torrejón, Schlifka Molina, Espacio Duplus (Buenos Aires), Lumisol (Munich) and Light Contemporary Gallery (London). .
