Vilela Fermín

Fermín Vilela was born in 1992, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. He studied literature, philosophy and visual arts at the National University of the Arts. He attended the workshops of Oscar Smoje and Otto Passenheim. In 2019 he received the Creation Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. He carried out artistic residencies in Portugal (Hangar Residences, Lisbon, 2020) and Italy. For some years he traveled through different regions of Latin America and Europe. He participated in group exhibitions during the years 2017, 2020 and 2022. In 2023 he held his first individual exhibition of drawing and painting, curated by Roberto Papateodosio.
