Tellez Natacha

The work of Natacha Tellez is crossed by the study of the subject, not only in its
physical dimension of it but by the poetic drifts that emerge from its capacities
ductile. In her work she actively involves the body as a mediator between the
materials and their rhetorical universes. Sculptural making is then a channel of
transference that allows him to speak of her own history and her memory as
catalyst of sensitive expressiveness. She considers materials research to be
fundamental for the expansion of the language, which in her case has a lot of
translation, where building, covering, protecting, sustaining, take on a plastic dimension.
In that search for strategies, she finds all kinds of objects that bring with them the
power of a symbolic action: fragments of organic or material objects
industrial, soft, memorable, warm, rigid, malleable, perishable, stoic…
