He was born in 1937 in Rosario, Santa Fe.
Since 1969 he has exhibited in Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, England, Italy, Spain and Germany.
She was awarded scholarships by different international institutions, among which it is worth highlighting: National Fund for the Arts; Ernesto de la Cárcova Higher School of Fine Arts; British Council, to attend the Slade School of Fine Art, University of London, to take courses in screen printing and research into art education in England; Italian government, to attend a Graphic Art course at the Istituto Statale d’Arte of Urbino; Partners of the Americas, to research education through art in Los Angeles, USA.
In 1990, 1994 and 1996 she was invited to work as an artist in residence at the Faculty of Art, Design and Humanities at the University of Brighton, England. From 1994 to 2002 she served as a screen printing professor at the Juan Mantovani Provincial School of Visual Arts, Santa Fe. From 1994 to 2004 she taught a screen printing course at the University of Salamanca, Spain. For more than fifty years, she worked as an English teacher at the San Bartolomé School in Rosario, teaching the language through art education and plastic appreciation.
She has received numerous awards, including: First Prize in Engraving, National Fund for the Arts, Hall of Award-Winning Artists in Modern Art, J. B. Castagnino Museum; First Prize in Engraving, XII Annual Salon of Plastic Artists, J. B. Castagnino Museum; First Prize Acquisition in Engraving, XLVII National Salon of Rosario; Second National Engraving Prize, XXIX National Salon; Riobó Caputto Award, LXXIII Annual Salon of Santa Fe; Mention Award, National Hall of Visual Arts; First Prize in Engraving, National Drawing and Engraving Hall of Entre Ríos; Second Prize in Engraving, III Argentine Biennial of Latin American Graphics in Buenos Aires; First Prize in Engraving, Arches Competition, Palace of Arts, Paper Museum. She participated in Estampa 2000, International Exhibition of Engraving and Contemporary Art Editions in Madrid. She was nominated by the National Academy of Fine Arts for the Trabucco Prize in Printmaking. In 2007 she received the Second International Prize for Exlibris in the Thematic Room of Graphic Arts of the Provincial Council of Lérida (Spain) and obtained Honorable Mention in the XXXV Carmen Arozena International Engraving Prize (Spain). In 2008 she won the Third Prize for Engraving at the Manuel Belgrano Hall.
Her work is part of the collections of national and foreign museums and public and private institutions. Currently she teaches a workshop on Education through Art at the San Bartolomé School in Rosario.
