Nana Schlez is a visual artist who explores the links between the materialities of the city, nature and the digital realm. She paying special attention to the transformations and spaces that are formed from this link. She was born in August 1989, in Buenos Aires. She grew up watching TV excessively, especially Cartoon Network, and collecting holographic stickers. As a girl, her favorite accessory was the fluorescent case of her devices. She studied clothing and arts at the UBA but did not finish them. She trained from multiple workshops and clinics. She participated in the Casero residency in Rio de Janeiro, the Manglar program with Andres Labaké and is currently participating in the Artists Program at the Torcuato Di Tella University (2022). Her work was selected for the 13th edition of the Itaú Visual Arts Award. She was part of the collective exhibition No hay tierra más siempre in Chela and the exhibition Derrumbe Programmado in Acéfala. In 2022 she had the Vivero exhibition in Ácephala and participated in the ArteBA fair. At this moment she collects various fragments and materialities.
