RESNIK Silvina

Born in 1965. In 1988 he graduated in Graphic Design from the University of Buenos Aires. In 1997 he graduated from the Ernesto de la Cárcova Higher School of Fine Arts. He complements his studies by attending various seminars and workshops, among others, those of Julio Racioppi, Guillermo Roux, Juan Doffo, Hermenegildo Sábat, Eduardo Stupía and Marcia Schvartz.

She is a visual artist and has exhibited regularly since 1990 in group and individual exhibitions locally and internationally. Among other spaces, she has exhibited her works individually at the Recoleta Cultural Center, at the Borges Cultural Center (La Línea Piensa space directed by Yuyo Noé and Eduardo Stupía) and at the IDB Bank, Washington DC. In 2009 she created a mural at the Pirovano Hospital within the Bicentennial Doors Project of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires. She has participated in local and international fairs: Art Ba, Art Fair Beirut, Art Fair Singapore. In 2020 she held the individual exhibition “Intimacy of the Parks” at Otto Galería, curated by Eduardo Stupía.

She teaches Visual Arts at the UMSA, in the Manuel Belgrano, Rogelio Yrurtia, Lola Mora professorships and in her private workshop.

Since 2015 she has been a member of the artistic collective La Línea que Camina alongside Andrea Racciatti, Cristina Rochaix and Susana Schnell.

In 2006 she won the Faber Castell prize for drawing.
