My work consists of videos, photographs, installations, and drawings. I am interested in the precarious state and use of materials that I work with, which often include fabrics, cords, ropes, clay, ink, paper, and texts. I construct scenes that appeal to theatrical and liturgical resources, fictionalizing as much as possible what is presented there. There are connections with surrealism, tableau vivant, street puppetry, horror cinema, and fantasy. I believe in art as a space of fiction, where there is a pact between the artwork and the spectators that is essential for an encounter, a question, and an emotion to arise. Thanks to that pact, in fact, the artwork exists.
