Her work is composed of drawings, paintings, and assembled objects using organic materials collected from different landscapes such as flowers, stones, branches, seeds, roots, leaves, shells, and fruits.
Through artisanal processes, using resins and varnishes, she creates diverse objects and miniatures that also interact with words and phrases incorporated into her visual productions.
“My search focuses on subjecting these materials, with their organic fragility, to an invented preservation process, a freezing of matter. I attempt to preserve their colors and forms, their original essence. Temporarily interrupting the imminent process of losing moisture and turning to dust. For me, it signifies a gesture that seeks to counteract the transformation of our senses into disembodied ideas. The reduction of experience to dematerialization”
