O’Farrell Elisa
She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1981.
She studied at the National University of Arts (UNA); She has a degree in Visual Arts.
In 2022 she received a diploma of merit from the Konex Foundation. She received the first prize for engraving from the Trabucco (acquisition) of the National Academy of Fine Arts and was selected for the Klemm Prize.
In 2021 she received the ArteBA 2021 work award and the 8M (acquisition) award.
In 2019 she received the Prize in two-dimensional works from the National Endowment for the Arts Competition. She received the First Prize of the National Salon in the Engraving category and a mention in the Klemm Foundation Prize.
In 2018 she received First Prize in the Young Engravers Contest.
In 2017 she received the Becar Travel Grant from the Ministry of Culture to undertake a residency at Taller Siete, Medellín, Colombia.
In 2015 she received an Acquisition Mention from the Central Bank Award and received the National Fund for the Arts Scholarship.
In 2014 she received the third prize from the Banco Itaú Foundation (acquisition).
In 2013 she was selected for the Andreani Foundation Award and the Klemm Foundation.
In 2010 she received the first prize for drawing from the Williams Foundation for Young Art (acquisition).
In 2008 she was awarded the Metropolitan Culture Fund Subsidy from the City Government.
In 2007 she was selected to participate in Intercampos III, a project analysis and development program of the Telefónica Foundation.
