Virginia Montaldi was born in Salta in 1974. She graduated from the Prilidiano Pueyrredón National School of Fine Arts in 1998, in the city of Buenos Aires. In 2015 he received the First Prize in Installation at the XXXV Salon of Visual Arts, Salta, in 2012 the First Prize in Painting at the XXXII Salon of Visual Arts of Salta, in 2007 the Award for the most outstanding Salteño Artist of the IV National Hall of Salta. In the same year she received the 1st Mention XXVII Provincial Hall of Salta. In the 2001 Jury Mention at the C.F.I National Awards.
