Rebeca Mendoza was born in Buenos Aires, in 1967.

She graduated in 1990 from the Prilidiano Pueyrredón Higher School.

She was trained under the influence of the Constructivist school of Torres García del Río de la Plata, with Alberto Delmonte.

In 1994 and until 2000 she lived in New York, exhibiting regularly in galleries, cultural centers, and fairs.

During those years her work was represented by Gallery Juno in Manhattan.

In 2000 she returned to Argentina, and Ricardo Copa Oliver was the one who began to represent her as an artist.

Since 2011, Artemisa Gallery in New York and Miami have represented her work in the US.

Since 2020, in Argentina, she is represented by OTTO Galería, who accompany her in the development of her career both in exhibitions and fairs.
