Jessica Mein was born in San Pablo, lives and works in Buenos Aires. She earned the Master of Fine Arts from Hunter College (NY) and the Bachelor of Arts from Duke University (Durham, NC). She has exhibited her work in solo shows at The Pavilion Downtown (Dubai), Simon Preston Gallery (NY) and Leme Gallery (Sao Paulo). She has also exhibited collectively at The Street Files – El Museo del Barrio Biennial (New York); The Julia Stoschek Foundation (Dusseldorf); The Drawing Center, (NY); Wellin Museum of Art (Hamilton College, NY); Tamayo Museum of Contemporary Art (Mexico); IVDE Gallery (Dubai); New York University, Abu Dhabi and Harvard University (Cambridge, MA), Museu de Arte Contemporânea (San Pablo), among others.
Her works are part of the collections of The Museum of Modern Art (NY), Julia Stoschek Collection (Dusseldorf) and The Albright Knox (Buffalo), The Bronx Museum of Art and the Museu de Arte Contemporânea (Sao Paulo).
