José Luis Landet was born in Buenos Aires Argentina in 1977. He studied a Bachelor’s degree in Plastic Arts at ENPEG La Esmeralda in Mexico City (2000-2005). He exhibited in various national and international spaces, highlighting cities such as New York, Lima, Buenos Aires, Miami, London, Turin, France, Switzerland, Madrid, Sou Paulo and Mexico City. He is a founding member of the Segundo Piso Collective, made up of Agustín González, Omar Barquet and Moris. He has been a recipient of various scholarships such as the FONCA Young Creators (2007-2008), CIA Center for Artistic Research, Bs As Argentina 2010, FNA National Fund of the Arts, Bs As Argentina 2013, currently FONCA National System of Art Creators, 2014 -2016, Mexico City. In 2009 he did a residency at “La Curtiduría”, TAGA Taller de Grafica Actual, Oaxaca México. In 2010 he held a residency at the Revolver gallery, Lima, Peru. Flora / Honda Residency, Bogotá, Colombia 2016.
