Jessica Trosman studied fashion design. In 1997 she launched Trosmanchurba. In 2002 she founded her eponymous brand: Trosman. Her innovative designs led her to present her collection biannually in Paris. In 2003 she won the Silver Scissors Award. She was chosen among the hundred best designers in the world by the fashion books SAMPLE and FASHION NOW. In 2011 she won the Golden Scissors for the best designer in the country. In 2012, she began working in her textile laboratory with the brands Chanel and Rick Owens. In 2013, she launched JT. In 2019, she embarked on her career as an artist, making textile sculptures. In 2021, she participated in her first group exhibition “Dewalking on the edge” curated by Clarisa Appendino and in 2022 she inaugurated her first individual exhibition “Temporada”, curated by Diego Bianchi. In 2022, together with Martín Churba, she made “Humana”, curated by Carlos Herrera at the Usina del Arte.
