Grondona Vicente

Vicente Grondona was born on January 4, 1977, in the city of Buenos Aires. He lives and works in Buenos Aires, he studied at the School of Fine Arts, Prilidiano Pueyrredón. Grondona reflects the importance and prominence of the material in his work, which is constantly related to its nature. He takes ownership of it, thinking of it as expressive material, as a theme or motif. His paintings and his sculptures have in common the nexus of the natural as a medium and as a mediator of the message. The recurrent use of raw materials such as charcoal breaks the tension between the classic and the contemporary. Grondona projects his work, his landscapes, his universe, reflecting his ideas with great intensity. Some of his exhibitions are “Cavernous Man” (Cavernosa Hombre) (MNBA, 2014); “Meeting Man” (ArteBA, 2014); “Stupor Mundi” (Slyzmud gallery, 2013); Atelier Agatha (Agatha Couture, 2013); “Nervous Landscape” (Nervous Landscape) (Alberto Sendrós Gallery, 2012); “Salon Fumé”
