Was born on July 16 th 1910 in Miscoltz city, Hungary. In 1927 he emigrated to France, where he worked for twelve years in the cinema industry as cameraman and professional iluminator with directores such as Rudy Maté, Georg Wilhelm Pabst, Alexander Korda, Julien Duvivier, Dimitri Kirsanoff and Jean de Limur.
Given the development of the cinematographic industry in Hollywood, in 1936 he travellled to the United States, where he worked in Shortfilms for MGM. At the same time he colaborated abroad as a graphic reporter for Paris Match. Two years later he returned to Paris to work for cinema specialized magazines Pour Vous and L’Intransigéant.
In 1939, at the eve of Second World War, he decided to establish with his family in Argentina. There he leaned on Photography, first with his old Leica, then with his long time partner , the Rolleiflex. He worked as graphic reporter in Editorial Atlántida and magazines such as: Vu, Time y Life.
Since 1947 he connected with Cesar Civita, founder and director of Abril Publisher, and started to participate in Nocturno e Idilio magazines. In the last one he was in charge of the Photonovels exploding his cinematographic view.
In the late 50 ́s he participated in the foundation of “La carpeta de los 10”, alongside Annemarie Heinrich, Anatole Saderman, Juan Di Sandro and others photographers, a fundamental group in the development of modern Photography in Argentina.
