Alfredo Frías was born in 1984, in Tucumán. He studies at the Atilio Terragni School of Fine Arts and at the UNT Faculty of Arts; Later he received a scholarship to do the Entrecampos Regional ’09, CCMHC-FNA Scholarship ’12, Archipelago Program in Russia Gallery and the X Artists Program at the UTDT. He was part of La Punta, contemporary art and COO cooperative of young artists from Tucumán. He did the Curator residencies; URRA Tiger; La Rural and La Paternal Space Project. He participated in group exhibitions at: Timoteo Navarro Provincial Museum of Fine Arts; MNBA; Stones Gallery; among others. He had individual exhibitions at: Constitución Gallery; Escape Space; Tucumán Space; MAC of Salta, among others. Among his latest distinctions we find: FNA creation grant; Extraordinary Scholarship Oxenford Collection; Scholarship activate heritage; XII Central Bank National Painting Prize, 1st prize under-35 category; 72nd National Salon of Rosario, stimulus award; and the Young Art Biennial.
