She completed her studies at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes (School of Visual Arts) at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, in Mendoza. She received a scholarship from the Fando Nacional de las Artes in 1966 to study painting at the studio of Juan Batile Planas in Buenos Aires. She worked in textile art from 1967 to 1985. For three years beginning in 1972, she directed a studio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. From 1978 onward she developed educational activities at her studio. In the year 2011, she was declared a Distinguished Citizen of the city of Mendoza.
