Chervin Catalina

Born in Corrientes, Argentina in 1953. Lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.For several years she has worked as artist in residence in New York City. Chervin graduated from The National School of Fine Arts “Ernesto de la Cárcova” (1973-1979) and was also trained by great Argentinean masters among them, Teresio Fara, Juana Butler, Kenneth Kemble , Ideal Sanchez, Eolo Pons and Emilio Renart. In New York, she has been artist in residence at the Robert Blackburn’s Printmaking Workshop and has worked with master printer Takuji Hamanaka. In New York she also has worked in collaboration at the workshops ofmaster printers Lothar Osterburg’s (2004, 2010, 2015), Kathy Caraccio’s (2003) and recently with master printer Devraj Dakoji, at Robert Blackburn’s Printmaking Workshop (2015 to 2022).
