Camoletto Hernán

1976. San Jorge, Santa Fe, Argentina.
In his recent works, he addresses the intersection between image and word. Drawing, painting or
installation are territories for exploring certain recurring themes: communicability,
memory, affections, loss. His work is based on observation and the link with
diverse materialities and supports whose singularities determine both the process and
the work.
A self-taught artist, he trained in workshops and clinics. In 2007 and 2008, he participated in The
Levante, reading clinic and confrontation of work coordinated by Graciel Carnevale, Mauro
Machado, Luján Castellani and Lorena Cardona.
Since 2005 he has exhibited in both individual and group exhibitions. Among the first
“Regressive Image” stands out (curated by Florencia Battiti. Raw Contemporary Art.
Rosario, Argentina). “Silence” (text by Juan Laxagueborde. El Gran Vidrio. Córdoba,
Argentina, 2019), “Translation” (curatorship: Mauro Guzmán. Mal de Archivo. Rosario,
Argentina, 2015), “Nocturnal remains” (curator: Lucas Di Pascuale. “Genaro Pérez” Museum).

Among his collective exhibitions the following are selected: “What a Poetry Thing” (curatorship: Guillermo
Daghero. Kirchner Cultural Center. CABA, Argentina); “A saying” (curatorship: Guillermo
Daghero. Mud Gallery. CABA, Argentina). “The body with letters enters” (curatorship: Manuel
Quaranta. RAW. Rosario, Argentina). “Jet Lag” (curatorship: Yuyo Gardiol. CRUDO. Rosario,
Argentina). “Caudal” (curatorship: Andrei Fernández. RUSSIA. Tucumán, Argentina).

Rosario Bléfari; Lucas Di Pascuale and Nancy Rojas; Silvia Gurfein and Beatriz Vignoli; Daniel
García and Gilda Di Crosta; Soledad Sánchez Goldar and Julio César Quinteros,; Diego Figueroa and

RAW.
