They were born in the spring of 2016 in Patagonia.
Horacio Occhi (Aluminé), Paola Sferco (Alta Gracia) and Mercedes Schamber (Bariloche).
They make up a project of shared authorship, research, experimentation, communication and artistic production.
They venture into exploratory events light on luggage. Their experiences are from encounters, where they are intertwined in inventive processes, driven by a force that passes through them in uncontrolled and absurd actions.
These actions are crossed with their bodies, their own and singular poetics.
His work takes place in natural and urban spaces, through episodes and installations combined with images, collage, objects and writings.
In 2016 they received the Bicentennial Scholarship, awarded by the FNA, which allowed them to develop the Cabezudos First Expedition project.
In 2017 they presented Time Without Rules, a video installation at the Bariloche Audiovisual Festival, receiving the Special Mention from the jury.
In 2018, together with Cuqui, Claudia Fontes, Lola Rozandal and Carolina Senmartín, they carried out Expedition to the River.
In 2019, the Cabezudos were invited to the Women’s Museum Cultural Space in the city of Córdoba (within the framework of the Spanish Language Congress), in the Luenga-Longa-Lunga exhibition. ACA (Assembly of Grouped Heads). Video installation and actions, appealing to a hybrid language with the poet and writer Eloísa Oliva
In 2020/21 they received the Andreani Foundation’s revelation award, with the video installation “the present was perfect”.
They were invited to the Córdoba Art Fair 2021, “Landscape: Production and Fantasy” at the ESAA art space in the city of Unquillo.
