He was born in Paraná, province of Entre Ríos, Argentina on December 28, 1942. He studied music, painting, engraving and drawing at the School of Fine Arts of Entre Ríos and sculpture at the “Ernesto de la Cárcova” School, in Buenos Aires. Since 1969, he has exhibited in more than four hundred and fifty national, municipal, provincial, biennial exhibitions, museums, galleries, etc. from Latin America, Europe and the United States. We can name some of his most notable participations, such as: in 1994 at the SADE Book Fair; in 1995 at the National Museum of Fine Arts, in 1996 the Museum of Modern Art, at the Timoteo Navarro Provincial Museum of Buenos Aires, at the Recoleta Cultural Center and at the National Museum of Fine Arts of Misiones; in 1997 at the Gómez Cornet Provincial Museum of Fine Arts in Santiago del Estero, at the Borges Cultural Center and in 2001 at the Toronto Art Fair, Canada; among other. He also received countless awards and distinctions, among the most notable: in 1992, International Critics’ Day, National Museum of Fine Arts, Siemmens Prize; In 1993 she obtained the Projecto Prize, she was shortlisted for the AICA Lifetime Achievement Award in 1994, in 1997 the Gunther Prize and First Prize at the National Museum of Fine Arts; and in 2002 the Konex Award. She made illustrations for numerous books and other collaborations. She served as a teacher in the workshops of the Ernesto de la Cárcova Higher School of Fine Arts, and she taught art classes in her private workshop in the La Boca neighborhood. She also made objects and installations, always characterized by the meeting of disparate elements. She passed away on August 30, 2008.
