Ivana Boullon is originally from Avellaneda, south of Buenos Aires. She lived her childhood in Monte Chingolo, where at the age of 10 she began her first studies of drawing and painting with Ariel, the son of the neighborhood grocer, every Saturday morning. She studied graphic design at FADU and at the same time she took various drawing, painting and illustration workshops, with Mariano Grassi, Gastón Caba and Fernanda Cohen. She likes to play with humor, with vibrant colors and eccentric characters, posing fantasy scenarios or everyday tragicomedies. She created large-scale murals and paintings, both at the Museo del Humor (MuHu), Festival Nuestro, Festival Bandera in Rosario, Bienal FADU and Plaza Carlos Jáuregui as part of a competition awarded by Casa Brandon, among others.
