Belén Facundo

Audiovisual Artist and Co-founder of NN gallery. He studied Audiovisual Communication at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UNLP. He develops audiovisual works, sculptures, installations and performances, which were exhibited at the Emilio Pettoruti Museum of Fine Arts, Castagnino + Macro Rosario Museum, at MACLA, NN gallery, UV studios, Munar, El Mirador Foundation, Lanzallamas gallery, Sala Laboratorio , Wunsch gallery. He participated in group exhibitions with works by Pablo Suárez, Flavia De Rin, Carlos Herrera, Eduardo Basualdo, Mariela Vita, Santiago Poggio, among others and made 2 solos Velo (2019) and 1 and a quarter (2016). In 2019, his video performance Limpieza Profunda was selected for the Rosario National Salon and was awarded a scholarship by Fundación El Mirador to be part of the annual Artists x Artists program in Munar. In 2020 he was selected in the Provincial Hall of Visual Arts and participated in a series of still lifes from the collection of the Emilio Pettoruti Provincial Museum of Fine Arts with a performance that was recorded on video in the Microespacio room. In 2021, his work ECDISIS was awarded a special mention in the Andreani Foundation award. In turn, Macedonia’s work was selected to participate in the Fortabat Foundation award. He was also selected for the traveling exhibition in the south of the country (Apóstoles) organized by Distrito1. His work was part of FACA 2017, MAC 2017/2018 and ArteBA 2018 and 2020 for NN gallery and IMAGEN gallery. In 2022 he presented his solo exhibition FRUOR curated by Julieta Tarraubella at Fundación El Mirador. He was selected to participate in a group exhibition curated by Diego Bianchi at TRA Miami.
