Arévalo Bernabé

Bernabé Arévalo, 1984, Guatemalan visual artist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied at the Universidad Nacional de Arte and was awarded a scholarship by the Fondo Nacional de las Artes for the Haroldo Conti Scholarship in 2014.
Pluto, Ghost in a Chair, (Observatorio, Buenos Aires, 2021) was his first individual exhibition. In 2018 he participated in the XXI Biennial of Paiz, curated by Gerardo Mosquera.
Natural Force, Fondo Nacional de las Artes, Argentina, 2015; Meanwhile, Sótano 1, Guatemala, 2016; Dependence/In-dependence, Sol del Río, 2017; Digital Art, Centro Cultural de España, Guatemala, 2018; The Discreet Charm, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Costa Rica, 2019; are some of the group shows in which he participated.
In 2015 he participated in the CURADORA residency in Santa Fe Rosario and in 2017 he was part of the Central American Residency Program.
His work is part of private collections in the United States, Argentina and Guatemala.
