In 2020, the Bunge y Born Foundation started a project to value documentation
of the business group that gave rise to it. Since then, actions have been taken
intended to survey, catalogue, preserve, digitize your documents. Likewise, it has
designed “tapir” software for transcribing handwritten texts into text.
The Archive brings together a large-scale collection resulting from the economic and social action of the
Group, between the years 1884-1990. The wealth of the fund is exceptional, it includes: books of
shipments, accounting books, stock records, films, photographs, etc.
The Bunge and Born Archive is a key piece for the study and knowledge of the industry
national, its workers, its productive and social spaces, and also accounts for
its relationship with the international market and is an enhancement of the industrial heritage of
Argentina.
