Manuel Coll (1980) is an Argentine visual artist
living in Córdoba.
The natural mountain landscape is the setting
where Coll recounts the most diverse stories,
characters and situations. A supernatural universe
in a natural setting. His style loaded with fantasy
and ction, is collecting anecdotes that allow us to
reect on the plant world, mainly on the
landscapes where it lives.
His painting inhabits various conventional (fabric,
wood) and unconventional surfaces (cardboard,
spirals, blinds, found objects). Many of these
materials are recycled by the artist in works that
refer to póvera art, but with an exquisite invoice of
landscape interventions and characters in acrylic.
