Julia C. Parodi (Barcelona, February 3, 1994) is an editor, designer and researcher. She is co-founder of the design and genre collective Oblicuas, with which she has carried out essays, conferences, workshops and works in different universities, galleries and plazas. She is also co-founder of the collective Llenos yvacos, which studies and disseminates conflicts in urban areas through her stories. Her personal work focuses on artistic research and the making of video-essays with images from national and digital archives. She has performed works at the Byte Footage Festival (CCK), the “Bhale Project” cycle (CCK) and the FAP-TEK Art, Technology and Thought Festival (CCE Montevideo), among others. She resides between Barcelona and Buenos Aires, where she has completed the Master’s Degree in Gender Studies and Policies from Untref.
