Portrait of the play 45 minutes with Marilú Marini, 1968.

Marilú Marini (Buenos Aires, 1940) grew up in Mar del Plata, where she studied classical dance during her childhood. She entered the University of Buenos Aires to study Sociology and Psychopedagogy, a space in which she came across the classes of María Fux, whom she recognized as her foundational teacher. She then continued her training with Patricia Stokoe, Renate Schottelius and Stella Maris. Before joining Danza Actual, together with Ana Kamien and other dancers, she formed a modern dance group called Burbuja, dedicated to the creation of children’s works. During the 70s she moved to Paris where she began her career as an actress which she continues to this day.
She participated in works by Samuel Beckett, Jean Genet, Yukio Mishima, Kado Kostzer, Maurice Maeterlinck, Chantal Thomas, and acted in both film and television. Among other distinctions, she was decorated by the French government as Commander of the Order of Arts and Letters. In 2021, the Konex Foundation recognized her with the Konex de Brillante Award for the greatest figure in Argentine Entertainment for her career as a theater actress.
