Estefanía Landesmann was born in Buenos Aires. She studied Clothing Design at the University of Buenos Aires and was selected in 2014 for the Artists Program at the Torcuato Di Tella University. There she did a clinic with Javier Villa, Jorge Macchi, Santiago García Navarro and she participated in workshops with Karina Peisajovich and Matías Duville. She has a solid independent art background, having studied photography with Guillermo Ueno and Alberto Goldenstein and art writing with Silvia Gurfein.
She has received multiple awards, as a photographer, with a special mention from the jury at the Klemm Foundation, the VIII Photography Prize at the Festival Internazionale di Roma, winner of the Project category at the 2015 Buenos Aires Young Art Biennial and the 2015 Braque awards. and Fundación Itaú 2014 and 2015 where it was a finalist.
