Iuso Guillermo

I was born in August 1963 in Buenos Aires. I am self-taught.
At school, I was the one who drew the best and scored the most goals. I never studied, except for geography, which fascinated me; during the other subjects I drew car dashboards, audio equipment, and soccer stadiums.
When I finished high school, I worked in my dad’s business, selling appliances, but when I turned twenty-five I couldn’t take it anymore and started painting.
The best thing I did:
> 5 solo shows at Ruth Benzacar Art Gallery (2007, 2010, 2014, 2014, 2019, 2021).
> 3 books of literature have been published in Mansalva Publishing House (2012, 2014, 2017).
> 1 mural at the PROA Foundation (2005)
> 17 works of the series Iusismo, for the exhibition Superyo at MALBA (2004)
> 1 solo show at the Braga Menéndez-Schuster Gallery (2001)
> 1 exhibition, installation, and publication of the book “Estado de Boarding Pass” at Espacio Duplus (2000).
I live and work in the city of Buenos Aires.
