b. 1960, Apóstoles, Misiones, Argentina. Lives and works in Buenos Aires.
He began painting and drawing as a child in his mother’s studio, the artist Nélida Puerta. He studied architecture at the University of Buenos Aires. He was a scholarship holder from the Fundación Antorchas for the New Painters Program of the NEA. In 2004 he was selected to participate in the Paintings Edge Program Residency with the artists Terry Winters, Laura Owens and Elizabeth Murray, California, USA. Painting, whether watercolor on paper or oil on canvas, is his medium. In the last five years he has developed ceramic work. In 2014 he was invited by the government of Buenos Aires to paint a mural at the Leandro N. Alem subway station. Among the distinctions, he received a recognition in the “Primer Concurso Iberoamericano de Pintura” (2002), Palais de Glace, Buenos Aires, and in 2010 the “Honorable Mention of the Jury”, Premio Pintura del Bicentenario, Fundación Banco de la Nación Argentina . He has exhibited his artworks in individual shows in Buenos Aires, Mexico DF, New York and Vienna.
