Nora Fisch is one of the key galleries within the vibrant art scene of Buenos Aires, representing some of its most emblematic artists. It exhibits contemporary Latin American art, emphasizing artists who have shaped or are influencing the development of art practices which seek a de-colonized perspective regarding gender, history, articulating an idiosyncratic geo-political perspective and the creation of poetics informed by local sensibilities, ethics and esthetics. We regard bringing these artists to an international arena as a key part of our mission.
Aside from exibitions we regularly present performances and other live events. Represented artists have participated in major biennials (Berlin, Kwangju, Sao Paulo, Venice, Istanbul), and exhibited at institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires; the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA); Drawing Center, New York; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; among others.
Nora Fisch was one of eight founding members of Meridiano, the Association of Art Galleries of Argentina, and currently serves as its vice-President.
