(General Villegas, 1979) He is a visual artist and teacher. His practice and research has largely focused on embroidery. She is especially interested in bringing embroidery work to challenging or critical situations. In this sense he incorporated drawing, sculpture or sculptural object, ceramics and also found objects or objects from his workshop or personal collection. In his work you can read the history of embroidery, but above all a deconstruction of embroidery, if not a destruction. The embroidery and overflowing from it are treatments that annihilate the very idea of this work. He won the First Textile Prize at the National Hall of Visual Arts 20/21. From 2007 to 2018 he directed the Formosa gallery, located in the Colegiales neighborhood (Buenos Aires, Argentina) where he promoted the work of different artists, developed and coordinated various cultural activities and founded a unique space for embroidery work.
