DOCUMENTOS DEL FONDO PERSONAL IGNACIO PIROVANO<\/h5><p>Alumno de Bourdelle, vivi\u00f3 y muri\u00f3 en los alrededores de Par\u00eds, donde trabaj\u00f3 con materiales tan nobles como el m\u00e1rmol, la madera y el granito. Sin dejarse arrastrar por la mitolog\u00eda -y cierta realidad- del artista olvidado por sus tierras, aqu\u00ed observaciones de Ignacio Pirovano al visitar su taller : \u201cEs dif\u00edcil describir el modesto taller de Vitullo. Dificultad que nace de la tendencia de embellecer el relato. Porque, ni con su obra, ni con su vida, este artista nos enga\u00f1a. An\u00f3nima casa de suburbio, sin misterio ni bohemia, apenas cuatro paredes donde retumban los golpes vigorosos del maestro\u201d (Publicado en \u201cArgentina en el Arte\u201d, ca. 1966).<\/p><p>El mecanuscrito original, con correcciones realizadas a mano, se encuentra en el Fondo Personal Ignacio Pirovano, junto a un significativo corpus de m\u00e1s de 220 piezas documentales. Entre ese universo, se destaca la correspondencia que el artista envi\u00f3 a su principal promotor y mecenas. Son cartas que mezclan cuestiones comerciales con la necesidad de compartir momentos de alegr\u00eda y reconocimiento hasta el pedido desesperado -reflejados en la misma caligraf\u00eda- de nuevas ventas de su obra para sortear que \u201cni poder salir a la calle siquiera\u201d. Estas cartas no s\u00f3lo dan cuenta de la autoconstrucci\u00f3n de Vitullo sino, sobre todo y fundamentalmente, que Pirovano se haya dado la tarea de resguardar todo esto y que posteriormente fuere donado a una instituci\u00f3n, ofrece posibles lecturas de la imagen p\u00fablica que un coleccionista construye de s\u00ed mismo y en relaci\u00f3n con su contexto.<\/p><p>La Secci\u00f3n \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/archivo.museomoderno.org\/index.php\/documentos-sobre-sesostris-vitullo\">Documentos sobre Sesostris Vitullo<\/a>\u201d del Fondo Personal Pirovano se encuentra en proceso de trabajo
