DOCUMENTOS DE LOS NOVENTA<\/h5><p>A\u00f1o 1983, Jorge Gumier Maier es seleccionado entre los artistas para el Premio Braque de Escultura. Le siguen muchas otras participaciones; adem\u00e1s desdoblar\u00e1 su producci\u00f3n, para trabajar desde lo colectivo en tanto promotor de una nueva camada de artistas (Graciela Hasper, Elba Bair\u00f3n, Feliciano Centuri\u00f3n, Alberto Goldestein, Sebasti\u00e1n Gord\u00edn, Miguel Harte, Luis Lindner, Marcelo Pombo, Cristina Schiavi, Omar Schiliro, Alfredo Londaibere, Liliana Maresca, entre otros) conocidos como el \u201cgrupo del Rojas\u201d.<\/p><p>Desde la gesti\u00f3n de la galer\u00eda del Centro Cultural Rojas, junto a Magdalena Jitrik, Gumier dio lugar a una programaci\u00f3n de muestras con estos artistas que renovaron y marcaron significativamente la escena de los noventa, y que desde las m\u00e1rgenes del Rojas empezaron a ser posteriormente incorporados en la agenda del peque\u00f1o pu\u00f1ado de espacios culturales que atend\u00edan las pr\u00e1cticas art\u00edsticas contempor\u00e1neas (el ICI, el Recoleta o el Centro Cultural de Espa\u00f1a).<\/p><p>Los textos de Gumier as\u00ed como la folleter\u00eda y notas de prensa de esos a\u00f1os son muy buenos registros para la historiograf\u00eda del arte; en estos documentos aparece su relato sobre el lugar que ocup\u00f3 el Rojas, sus posturas est\u00e9ticas y pol\u00edticas, y las discusiones suscitadas a partir de los r\u00f3tulos elaborados por la cr\u00edtica para hablar del arte de los noventa. Son de hecho piezas clave si se tiene en cuenta que en esos a\u00f1os no se produc\u00edan cat\u00e1logos de sus muestras y acciones.<\/p><p>Estas piezas documentales se encuentran en la Serie sobres-legajo de artistas argentinos del Fondo Institucional del Moderno, se puede consultar en sala y en la base de datos figuran los nombres de artistas que forman parte del corpus.<\/p><p><em>La
